Role Overview

  • We're looking for a Senior Backend Specialist to join the engineering team.
  • You'll design and implement microservices and help shape scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems on Azure Cloud.
  • This role combines hands-on coding with mentoring and technical leadership within a collaborative agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain microservices using , NestJS, and TypeScript.
  • Translate business requirements into clean, maintainable, and testable backend solutions.
  • Review code, share feedback, and coach team members to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines using GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Support production releases, monitoring, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Apply an "AI-first" development approach to improve efficiency and innovation.

Technical Experience

  • 8 + years of professional software development experience, including 4 + years focused on backend systems.
  • Strong skills in , NestJS, and TypeScript.
  • Practical experience with Azure Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, MongoDB, and caching tools such as Redis.
  • Understanding of domain-driven and event-driven design patterns (Kafka, CQRS, Saga).
  • Familiarity with TDD, automated testing, and secure coding practices.
  • Bonus: exposure to or Angular for frontend collaboration.
