Cloud Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Cloud Specialist with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to join our growing team. This role is open to both Junior and Mid-Seniority candidates, offering an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies, particularly in the realm of Generative AI, and directly impact our clients' success.

As a Cloud Specialist for AI/ML, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their AI/ML journey on Google Cloud, from initial strategy and design to successful implementation and adoption of AI-powered solutions. You will be instrumental in demonstrating how Google Cloud's AI capabilities, including powerful tools for Generative AI, can revolutionize their operations, enhance decision-making, and unlock new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

For All Seniority Levels:

1. Engage with clients to understand their business challenges, objectives, and existing data infrastructure.
2. Advise on best practices for AI/ML adoption, data preparation, model development, and deployment on Google Cloud.
3. Design and implement scalable and robust AI/ML solutions, with a particular emphasis on 
   Generative AI applications
   , including agentic solutions, advanced data analysis, and conversational AI.
4. Provide technical guidance and support to clients throughout the AI/ML project lifecycle.
5. Responsible for the end-to-end AI/ML solution lifecycle, from data ingestion and preparation to model training, deployment, monitoring, and optimization, ensuring seamless integration with existing client infrastructure and delivering measurable business value.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Cloud AI/ML features, updates, and emerging trends in Generative AI.
7. Collaborate with our sales, technical, and project management teams to ensure client satisfaction.

For Mid-Seniority Candidates (in addition to above):

1. Lead discovery workshops and architectural design sessions for complex AI/ML projects.
2. Develop comprehensive implementation strategies and project plans for AI/ML initiatives.
3. Design, develop, and deploy custom AI/ML models and pipelines using Google Cloud AI services (e.g., Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, AutoML).
4. Specialize in integrating and optimizing 
   Generative AI models
    (e.g., Gemini, Imagen) for various client use cases, including fine-tuning and prompt engineering.
5. Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and solution optimization for AI/ML workloads.
6. Mentor junior specialists and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices for AI/ML and Generative AI.
7. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on long-term AI/ML and digital transformation roadmaps.

For Junior Candidates:

1. Assist senior specialists in data preparation, model training, and deployment tasks for AI/ML projects.
2. Learn and apply best practices for Google Cloud AI/ML implementation.
3. Support documentation efforts for AI/ML solutions.
4. Develop foundational knowledge in Google Cloud AI services and explore use cases for 
   Generative AI.
5. Actively participate in client engagements, gaining hands-on experience in AI/ML solution delivery.

Qualifications

Required:

1. For Junior Position:
    A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, OR equivalent practical experience. Fresh graduates with a strong demonstrable interest and aptitude for AI/ML, cloud technologies, and 
   Generative AI
   are encouraged to apply.
2. For Mid-Seniority Position:
    3+ years of experience in a technical consulting, implementation, or development role focused on AI/ML, data science, or cloud solutions.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a client-centric approach.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred (Any combination of the following is highly valued):

1. Google Cloud AI/ML Expertise:
   Hands-on experience with leveraging Google Cloud Platform like Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, and AutoML to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML solutions.
2. Generative AI Focus:
    Demonstrated understanding and practical experience with Generative AI models (e.g., large language models like Gemini, image generation models like Imagen), including prompt engineering, fine-tuning and deployment.
3. Programming Skills:
   Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
4. Data Engineering Skills:
   Experience with data processing and warehousing tools on Google Cloud (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc).
5. Cloud Certifications:
   Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Professional Data Engineer, Associate Cloud Engineer) are a significant plus.
6. Domain Knowledge:
   Experience in specific industry domains where AI/ML is applied (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail).

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their AI/ML offerings.
2. Project management experience or certifications.
3. Experience in a client-facing consulting role.
