This position is with our subsidiary company, SIC Digital Sdn Bhd, seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to lead the management of our end-to-end digital infrastructure across all key development projects.

Job Description :

The ideal candidate shall have experience in fiber optic telecommunications infrastructure particular for Fiber to the Home solution. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of stakeholders, including PKNS, vendors, subcontractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities, to ensure the successful delivery and operation of high quality digital services.

  1. Strategic Planning & Project Deployment

  2. Develop and execute comprehensive plans for digital infrastructure deployment across multiple projects.

  3. Lead the planning and deployment of telecommunication network which include fiber optic network, Fiber to the Home, wireless system, Telco tower.
  4. Conduct technical feasibility studies and provide expert recommendations on technology solutions and architecture.
  5. Assist Sale and Marketing program in promoting new business or new technology.
  6. Assist in planning and deployment of smart city projects.
  7. Manage project timelines, budgets and resources o ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  8. Liasion with business stakeholders that include PKNS, authorities, telecommunication providers, vendors, consultants, contractors and customers.
  9. Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for network monitoring, incident response, and preventive maintenance. Lead troubleshooting efforts for technical issues and coordinate with relevant teams for swift resolution.
  10. Manage all necessary applications and renewals for telecommunication licenses and permits.
  11. Prepare and submit technical reports, compliance documentation, and project updates to regulatory bodies such as the Malaysia Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years experience in fiber optic telecommunication infrastructure.
  • Have good technical knowledge in ICT network.
  • Experience in new technology or business deployment
