Job Summary

The Product Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that products are effectively displayed, adequately stocked, and presented in a visually appealing manner to attract customers and drive sales. This role also involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining good relationships with store staff, and executing promotional activities as assigned.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Merchandising

  • Ensure all products are displayed in an organized, attractive, and compliant manner.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to keep shelves fully stocked.
  • Set up and maintain promotional displays according to marketing plans.
  • Rotate products following expiration dates and company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with store managers and staff to optimize product placement and visibility.
  • Update check-in locations and display execution photos via WhatsApp and the merchandising app.
  • Report to the Sales Manager on daily promotional activities every morning.

Customer Service

  • Build strong relationships with store personnel and customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.
  • Assist customers in locating products and making purchase decisions.

RequirementsQualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or food sampling is preferred.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as required.
  • Good awareness of market trends and competitors.
  • Strong product knowledge and willingness to stay updated on new products.
  • Must own a car for work-related travel

Language Skills

  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.
  • Ability to speak Bahasa Melayu is an added advantage.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Comfortable engaging with the public and presenting products.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to various retail locations as needed.
