Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Oversee current and historical drilling activities across several Latin America countries by organizing and supporting the effective data sourcing processes.
  • Process raw data, extract and enter well information in the international exploration and production database, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Conduct quality control of the data, focusing on its completeness and consistency, helping our customers, global industry leaders, to make informed decisions.
  • Participate in data improvement projects, collaborating with regional editorial team and subject matter experts to drive data consistency across all the subjects related to upstream activities (e.g. basins, fields, contracts).

What We're Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:


•     Minimum BS in Geology or other relevant Earth Science.


•     Strong understanding of petroleum geology and basic drilling procedures.


•     Proficiency in MS Excel.


•     Familiarity with mapping software, preferably ArcGIS Pro.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

  • Curiosity and investigative skills, with persistence in sourcing data from diverse materials and a genuine desire to solve data challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills for extracting technical attributes from raw data.
  • Critical thinking towards data, with a willingness to verify information.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:


•     Familiarity with data query and visualization tools (e.g. SQL, MS Power BI).


•     Experience with AI and automation applications for data analysis.


•     Ability to analyze satellite imagery.
