Channel Partner Representative

Job Responsibilities
:
- Channel Revenue Generation
: Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth through channel ecosystem. - Channel Partner Development
: Foster strong relationships with existing channel partners. Engage in effective partner development activities, including partner onboarding, training, and continuous engagement. - Pipeline Management:
Effectively manage the sales pipeline with a strong focus on partner engagement (70%) while also supporting direct end-user opportunities (30%). Ensure accurate forecasting, timely follow-ups, and adherence to best practices, while providing regular updates to senior management. - Performance Metrics
: Revenue growth, partner engagement, conversion rates, and partner satisfaction. - Strategic Planning
: Contribute to the development of channel strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and partner expansion. Provide insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and partner feedback to inform strategic decision-making. - Continuous Improvement
: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to bring innovative ideas and approaches to the channel sales strategy. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications and Expertise:
- Product Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of the Data Center Group products and services, including their features, benefits, and applications. Able to effectively communicate and demonstrate value to channel partners and end-users. - Channel Partner Management
: Proficiency in identifying and nurturing relationships with channel partners, distributors, resellers etc. Able to assess partner business priorities, needs, provide training and support, and ensure alignment with the project goals - Sales and Negotiation Skills
: Strong sales and negotiation with ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets. Proficiency in identifying potential upsell and cross sell opportunities. - Market and Industry Knowledge
: Stay up to date with trends and developments in the data centre and IT industry, including competitor offerings, market shifts, and emerging technologies. - Technical Knowledge
: Basic understanding of data centre technologies, including server, storage, virtualization, networking, and cloud computing, to assist partners in product selection including upsells and cross sells. - Communication Skills
: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner. - Problem-Solving
: Ability to identify and address issues or challenges faced by channel partners promptly, offering solutions and working collaboratively to ensure customer satisfaction and the resolution of technical problems. - Forecasting and Analytics
: Proficiency in using data and analytics to forecast sales, track performance, and make data-driven decisions that optimize product distribution and partner engagement. - Strategic Planning
: Developing and executing channel sales strategies and business plans, including identifying new business opportunities, setting objectives, and monitoring progress towards goals. - Adaptability
: The ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, staying flexible in response to changing market conditions, product offerings, and partner needs.
