Requirements:

  • Possess a Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role within a high-volume culinary establishment.
  • Deep knowledge of kitchen management principles, including menu planning, food preparation techniques, and operational workflow.
  • Strong skills in inventory management, ordering processes, and cost control procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of food safety standards and health regulations, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Ability to implement rigorous quality control measures.
  • Capable of developing and delivering staff training programs.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient task execution.
  • Implement an effective inventory control system to minimize waste and maximize cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on food preparation and presentation.
  • Mentor and develop kitchen staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the management team on menu planning, promotions, and special events.
