About the role

Taco Mio' is seeking an experienced and motivated Floor Supervisor to join our vibrant and fast-paced restaurant in Damansara Selangor. As a Floor Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant, overseeing the day-to-day activities of our front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate the work of servers, hosts, and other front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service
  2. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and organisation of the dining area and front-of-house
  3. Assist with managing reservations, seating arrangements, and customer flow
  4. Respond to customer inquiries and address any concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner
  5. Provide training and guidance to front-of-house staff to develop their skills and knowledge
  6. Contribute to the implementation of new procedures and policies to improve operational efficiency
  7. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure the timely delivery of orders and a positive dining experience
  8. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
  9. Assist with inventory management and stock control as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar floor supervisor or restaurant management role
  2. Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  3. Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
  4. Proficient in handling cash, processing payments, and managing reservations
  5. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and health and safety regulations
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
  7. Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering an outstanding dining experience
