Job Responsibility

  • Oversee and manage all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular site inspections and addressing any potential hazards immediately.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, tradespeople, and laborers, providing clear direction and ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all construction work meets or exceeds industry standards and project specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting any potential delays or issues.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any on-site problems or conflicts, utilizing effective problem-solving and decision-making skills to minimize disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, material deliveries, and equipment usage.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among all site personnel.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Entry-level position suitable for fresh graduates with a strong academic record and a passion for construction.
  • Proficiency in Site Management, including planning, organizing, and controlling site activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain Quality Control procedures to ensure that all construction work meets the required standards and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of Safety Management principles and practices, with the ability to enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Excellent Problem Solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project progress.
  • Proven ability in Site Supervision, including coordinating and supervising subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated Team Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of construction workers to achieve project goals.
  • Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is essential for effective communication with a diverse workforce and stakeholders.
