The Recruitment Specialist / Talent Acquisition Executive plays a key role in supporting APT's business growth by attracting, selecting, and onboarding the right talent across our salon branches and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process — from job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, to selection and offer management.
- Work closely with Department Heads to understand manpower needs, ensuring timely hiring for both frontline and support roles.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract quality candidates through social media, online job platforms, walk-in interviews, referrals, and partnerships with beauty academies or colleges.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to meet future manpower requirements across APT outlets.
- Manage and coordinate recruitment events, open interviews, and career fairs to promote APT as an employer of choice in the beauty industry.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment reports and records for management review.
- Support employer branding initiatives — including social media content, recruitment campaigns, and employee engagement activities to strengthen APT's brand as a top salon employer.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for all new hires and assist in orientation sessions.
- Assist in other HR-related functions and projects, such as performance management, staff engagement, and training coordination as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within the retail, service, or beauty industry.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect well with candidates at all levels.
- Proactive, resourceful, and result-driven, able to manage multiple hiring needs and tight timelines.
- Strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and teamwork.
- Familiarity with employment laws and HR practices in Malaysia is an added advantage
