Job Description

The Business Development Intern will support the Business Development team in identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, preparing proposals, and maintaining client relationships. This internship provides hands-on exposure to sales strategies, client engagement, and business growth activities in a professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities, potential clients, and market segments.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support business development strategies.
  • Support the preparation of business proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating client databases, CRM systems, and sales records.
  • Follow up with potential and existing clients via email or phone under supervision.
  • Help organize and attend client meetings, events, and business networking activities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, operations, finance) for project support.
  • Prepare basic sales reports, progress updates, and documentation.
  • Support administrative tasks related to business development and sales operations.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor related to business growth initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and interest in sales, marketing, and business development.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of market research or data analysis is an advantage.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and in a team.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are a plus.

Job Type: Internship

Pay: RM RM1,000.00 per month
