About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Redwood Furniture Sdn Bhd. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility in Johor Bahru, Johor. This full-time position will involve leading and motivating a team of production staff to ensure efficient and high-quality output.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of production teams to meet targets and deadlines
  2. Monitoring production processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
  3. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
  4. Providing training and development to production staff
  5. Communicating with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  6. Analysing production data and generating reports
  7. Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise on the production floor

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in the manufacturing industry
  2. Knowledge of AutoCad is an advantage
  3. Strong leadership and people management skills
  4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  5. Proficient in reading and interpreting production data and generating reports
  6. Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety protocols
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  8. Good communication and interpersonal skills
