is a fast-growing FMCG company with a strong consumer brand presence in Malaysia and active expansion plans across selected international markets in Southeast Asia.

Role Overview

The Head of Marketing (FMCG) will lead the strategic and operational direction of the marketing function across the FMCG portfolio. This role requires a strong balance between
commercial ownership and creative brand leadership
, with full accountability for brand P&L, portfolio strategy, and market expansion initiatives. The role reports directly to senior commercial leadership and works closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Trade Marketing, and E-commerce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end FMCG marketing strategy across Malaysia and selected international markets
  • Own brand portfolio P&L, including pricing strategy, promotional planning, and portfolio optimization
  • Drive market expansion and localized go-to-market strategies while maintaining brand consistency
  • Develop and execute integrated, high-impact marketing campaigns aligned to commercial KPIs
  • Oversee marketing budgets, ROI tracking, and financial reporting
  • Lead customer-facing marketing initiatives including Joint Business Planning (JBP) with key retailers
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships that deliver both brand value and revenue impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing leadership team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of FMCG marketing experience
    , with
    minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience managing
    brand portfolio and full P&L ownership
  • Strong exposure to
    international or regional market strategy development
  • Demonstrated ability to balance
    commercial performance and creative execution
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
  • Candidates from
    top-tier FMCG companies
    (e.g. multinational or market-leading FMCG players) are highly preferred

Salary & Work Arrangement

  • Salary Range:
    RM10,000 – RM17,000
