Role Description

At Dale Carnegie Malaysia
, we are looking for a 
Finance Executive
 who will take ownership of our financial operations and contribute insights that drive efficiency, transparency, and growth.

This is a full-time, on-site role where you will manage the 
full set of accounts
, ensure 
accurate financial reporting
, and collaborate closely with the leadership team. You'll also play a vital role in supporting 
budgeting, cash flow management, SST compliance
, and 
franchise reporting to DC&A
.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Manage full-set accounting: AP, AR, GL, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records in 
    QuickBooks
     and ensure timely updates.
  • Oversee 
    payroll, claims, vendor payments
    , and petty cash.
  • Liaise with 
    auditors, tax agents, and banks
     to ensure compliance.

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit 
    monthly financial reports to our Franchisor
    .
  • Generate 
    weekly collection and sales reports
     for management.
  • Manage 
    SST compliance
    , tax submissions, and statutory filings.
  • Support 
    budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
    .
  • Prepare 
    management reports
    , including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.

3. Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide analytical insights to enhance profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Develop internal dashboards or tools to help operations run more effectively.
  • Identify process improvements and support digitalization initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in 
    Accounting, Finance
    , or a related field.
  • Minimum 
    3 years of experience
     handling full-set accounts (SME experience preferred).
  • Proficient in 
    QuickBooks
     and 
    Microsoft Excel
    .
  • Knowledge of 
    Sales and Services Tax (SST)
     and Malaysian accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work 
    independently
     and manage multiple priorities.

  • Professional certifications such as 
    ACCA, CPA, or equivalent
     are an advantage.
