Job Description:

  • Entry level.
  • Perform check-in, check-out, room assignment, room changes, and handle new reservations and bookings.
  • Ensure all data is accurately recorded in the hotel system.
  • Greet guests, answer phones, and attend to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and courteously.
  • Manage and respond to emails effectively.
  • Record details of communications for future follow-up.
  • Ensure cash in the cashier is accurate and matches the cashier's shift report.
  • Communicate with the housekeeping department regarding room status and guest needs.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and smooth operation of the front office counter.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by the manager.
  • Sales commission and incentives are offered upon confirmation.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to work rotating shifts, including night shifts and public holidays.
  • Computer literate with basic knowledge of computer systems.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Training will be provided.

Required Skills:

  • Punctual and responsible.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Details of the salary package we are offering for this position:

  • Competitive Basic Salary: RM1,700 per month, with the potential to earn up to RM1,900++ per month through additional earnings from sales commissions, OTA performance rewards, and overtime (if required), upon confirmation.
  • Sales Commission: Eligible for sales commission upon successful confirmation of employment
  • Performance-Based OTA Rewards: Earn additional rewards between RM50 to RM100 based on OTA performance.
  • Accommodation Provided: Complimentary hostel accommodation is available for staff.
  • Transport Allowance: RM100 monthly allowance for those opting not to stay in the provided hostel.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Full contributions under EPF (Employees Provident Fund) and SOCSO (Social Security Organization).
  • Overtime Compensation: Overtime, if required, is compensated at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate.
  • Public Holidays: Enjoy 11 days of paid public holidays per year. Work on a public holiday is compensated at double pay. Unused public holidays can be carried forward within 2 months.
  • Annual Leave: 8 days of annual leave per year during the first two years of employment, effective upon confirmation.
  • Rest Days: 4 days off per month to maintain a balanced work-life schedule.
