Job Summary

The Finance Assistant Manager/Manager oversees day-to-day financial operations, leads multiple finance teams, ensures strong internal controls, and supports strategic financial planning. This role is responsible for process improvements and ensuring all financial activities are accurate, compliant, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end finance operations, including AP, AR, GL, billing, payroll, and treasury functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial closing, reporting, and reconciliation activities.
  • Develop, implement, and improve financial systems, controls, and processes.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial KPIs.
  • Lead and supervise finance teams, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless financial workflows.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Drive process automation projects to improve efficiency and accuracy.

*Preferably with experience in the Food & Beverage industry, and familiarity with Navision and SAP is a plus.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Professional certifications (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) are highly preferred.

Experience

  • 8+ years in finance, accounting, or financial operations.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Experience managing multi-functional finance teams is an advantage.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of finance operations, internal controls, and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure environments and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational and process-improvement skills.
