Silicon Island Development Sdn Bhd (SIDSB) is a joint venture made up of the Penang Government's special purpose vehicle Penang Infrastructure Corporation (PIC) and the project delivery partner SRS Consortium Sdn Bhd (SRS). SIDSB's role as project developer (PD) includes hiring and maintaining an adequately staffed and competent and skilled project team to fulfil its obligations in the Project Development Agreement, which is the reclamation and development of Island A.

Job Summary

  • Senior Engineer task to Overseen the Project Social Impact Management Plan (SIMP) Package, Engineering Approval Processes, Land delivery & Titling.



Key Responsibilities

Assisting, Follow up & Ensuring the smooth implementation and coordination of:

    • Social Impact Management Plan (SIMP) related matter under Project Requirements & State Government.
    • Liaising with local authority, Agencies & Related parties for approval matters as assigned by the company.
    • Reporting and Tracking for the approval status and process flow for SIMP program execution & Land delivery status.
    • Prepare documentation related to approval department including C&C forms, Management Paper, Letters & Presentation Slides (Task Force Nelayan).
    • To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the company
    • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.
Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering/Project Management or equivalent.

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Proficient in communication and writing.
  • Work well in teams
  • Work well under pressure 
Expected Minimum Years of Experience

5 - 10 years of experience in related field.
