Position: Director of Sales

Salary Package: RM8,000-RM13,000

Working Location: Menara Tiga Serangkai, JB

Company Background: Hospitality

Working days : 5 days / Week

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm (Monday – Friday)

Job Descriptions:-

Strategic Planning & Execution:

-Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue,

occupancy, and market share goals.

-Oversee the creation of the annual marketing plan, ensuring alignment with business targets and the

hotel's brand positioning.

-Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and guest preferences to adjust strategies and identify new opportunities.

Sales Leadership & Team Management:

-Lead, motivate, and manage the Sales & Marketing teams to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.

-Set individual and team performance goals, provide regular coaching and feedback, and ensure continuous professional development.

-Collaborate with the Revenue, Operations, and Events teams to align sales and marketing efforts with

broader hotel objectives.

Client Relationship & Brand Management:

-Build and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, travel agents, and media partners.

-Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote the brand and attract new business.

-Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness.

Revenue Growth & Performance Monitoring:

-Track sales performance, marketing ROI, and market share to ensure sales and marketing initiatives are effective.

-Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, and return on investment.

-Work closely with the Revenue Manager to optimize pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies.

Marketing Communications & Digital Strategy:

-Oversee all aspects of hotel communications, including advertising, public relations, digital marketing, and social media.

-Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across websites, social media, and email marketing channels.

-Manage the hotel's online presence, ensuring accurate and engaging content across platforms and improving guest engagement.

Budget & Financial Management:

-Develop and manage the Sales & Marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.

-Monitor and control costs, ensuring a positive return on investment for sales and marketing initiatives.

Reporting & Analysis:

-Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, marketing initiatives, and market trends to senior management.

-Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve strategies and drive business growth.

Requirements

-Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.

Skills:

-Strong leadership and team management abilities.

-Expertise in sales, marketing strategy, digital marketing, and brand management.

-Proficiency in CRM software, marketing automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

-Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Knowledge:

-In-depth understanding of hospitality sales processes, market segmentation, and revenue management.

-Familiarity with the latest trends in digital marketing, social media, and online reputation management.

Job Type: Full-time
