About the role

This exciting contract role for a Wintel Administrator at Tentacle Tech' offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team providing IT services to clients across the Kuala Lumpur region. As a Wintel Administrator, you will play a key role in the management and maintenance of the company's Windows and Intel-based infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

What you'll be doing

  1. Administer and maintain Windows server and client operating systems
  2. Implement and manage Active Directory, Exchange, and other Windows-based applications
  3. Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls
  4. Provide technical support and incident resolution for end-users
  5. Participate in the implementation of new IT projects and initiatives
  6. Collaborate with the wider IT team to ensure the seamless delivery of IT services
  7. Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Wintel Administrator or similar role
  2. Strong understanding of Windows server and client operating systems
  3. Proficient in Active Directory, Exchange, and other Windows-based applications
  4. Experience in network and infrastructure management, including switches, routers, and firewalls
  5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  6. Good communication and customer service skills
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
