Job Summary: 

As the VP, Data Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our data strategy. You will be responsible for leading a team of talented data professionals, driving the development and implementation of data solutions that enhance our business intelligence, analytics, and overall data capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in data management, business intelligence, and a deep understanding of the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Strategy and Governance:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
    • Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  2. Data Architecture and Solutions:
    • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable and robust data architectures to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
    • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data capabilities.
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including IT, underwriting, claims, and finance, to understand business requirements and ensure data solutions meet the needs of various departments.
  4. Data Analytics and Reporting:
    • Drive the development of advanced analytics and reporting capabilities to derive actionable insights from data.
    • Ensure timely delivery of accurate and relevant reports to support business decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics).
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior data management role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of data architecture, data governance, and business intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
