The Senior UI/UX Designer will lead the creation of intuitive, engaging, and impactful user experiences across digital platforms. This role combines strategic thinking, creative design, and user research to craft interfaces that meet both user needs and business objectives. The Senior UI/UX Designer will mentor junior designers, collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders, and champion best practices in design systems, usability, and accessibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end design processes from conceptualization to final delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Define and communicate the design vision, principles, and strategy aligned with brand and business goals.
  • Develop and maintain scalable design systems, patterns, and components across platforms.

2. User Experience (UX)

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to validate design decisions.
  • Translate research findings into wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility compliance.

3. User Interface (UI)

  • Create visually appealing, brand-consistent designs that enhance usability and engagement.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate and high-quality implementation.
  • Maintain pixel-perfect execution with attention to detail in typography, colour, and layout.

4. Collaboration & Mentoring

  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback and design reviews to ensure consistency and quality.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven portfolio demonstrating complex design solutions for web and mobile applications.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (bonus).
  • Strong grasp of responsive and adaptive design principles.
