Key Responsibilities:

· Strategic Leadership

ü Provide leadership and direction in the development and implementation of the Company's vision, mission, strategic objectives, and business plans.

ü Identify business opportunities, risks, and emerging market trends to ensure the Company's long-term sustainability and growth

· Operational Management

ü Oversee and manage the Company's day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

ü Establish, implement, and monitor internal policies, controls, and procedures to safeguard the Company's assets and reputation.

· Financial Stewardship

ü Ensure sound financial management of the Company, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.

· People and Organisational Development

ü Lead, motivate, and develop the senior management team to achieve Company objectives.

ü Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and high performance throughout the organisation.

· Stakeholder & Board Relations

ü Act as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and management, ensuring effective communication and execution of Board directives.

ü Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, regulators, and the community.

· Business Development

ü Drive business growth by identifying and securing new projects, contracts, and partnerships.

ü Expand opportunities for the team by developing new markets and strengthening the company's brand presence

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field. A Master's Degree (MBA) will be an added advantage.

· Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in a senior leadership role (General Manager, Deputy GM, Operations Director, or equivalent). Prior exposure to construction, engineering, or related industries is strongly preferred

· Proven ability to provide strategic direction, drive business growth, and lead cross-functional teams. Strong track record in managing both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic initiatives.

· Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, cost control, and business performance tracking. Ability to identify new business opportunities, secure projects, and manage risks effectively.

· Demonstrated success in building, motivating, and mentoring teams at senior levels. Able to foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and high performance.

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with the Board of Directors, clients, business partners, regulators, and community stakeholders.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound, timely, and strategic decisions.

· Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage for engaging with suppliers and business partners.
