Role Overview

The Functional Consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing functional solutions, and supporting end-to-end implementation activities across various business domains.

This role requires strong process understanding, documentation expertise, stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience with enterprise applications including LMS, Workday, and ASP based systems.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Functional Analysis

  • Exposure and possess experience with end-to-end business processes across
    Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, HR, and Asset Management
    .
  • Translate complex business requirements into effective
    functional and technical solutions
    .
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and contribute to process improvements and solution design.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Use
    Microsoft Project
    to build and maintain detailed
    Gantt Charts
    for tracking project timelines and deliverables.
  • Manage project milestones, risks, dependencies, and drive consistent stakeholder communication.
  • Work within
    Agile methodologies
    , participating in sprint planning, reviews, and related ceremonies.

Documentation & Process Mapping

  • Prepare high-quality documentation including:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
  • Use Cases and User Stories
  • Develop process maps and workflow visuals using
    Visio
    and

    .
  • Create
    UML diagrams
    including Use Case, Activity, Sequence, and Class Diagrams representing system interactions and business flows.

Enterprise Systems Experience

Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Hands-on experience with LMS platforms for course administration, user management, content deployment, and reporting.
  • Support LMS configuration, troubleshooting, and coordinate with training teams for end-user enablement.

Workday

  • Experience with Workday modules such as
    HCM, Payroll, Absence, and Talent
    .
  • Support Workday processes through requirement gathering, configuration assistance, business process mapping, and UAT execution.
  • Understand system functionality and integration points within Workday to ensure smooth end-to-end process delivery
  • Experience working with
    ASP based enterprise applications
