Job descriptions:

  1. Assist the Finance Manager in preparing and analyzing cost data to support management in budgeting, pricing, profitability analysis, and inventory valuation.
  2. Prepare and maintain cost records, standard costings, and cost analysis reports.
  3. Monitor and update Bill of Materials (BOM), product costing, and production variances.
  4. Assist in month-end closing activities related to inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  5. Conduct cost analysis on raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
  6. Review manufacturing processes and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
  7. Coordinate with production, procurement, and warehouse departments to gather cost data.
  8. Support budgeting and forecasting activities from a costing perspective.
  9. Ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards.
  10. Assist in audit-related activities and provide supporting documents as required.
  11. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior or management.

Job requirements:

Qualification required: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Professional Accounting Certificates.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in cost accounting.

Experience in Manufacturing industry is an added advantage.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and other office tools.

Knowledge in ERP system will be an added advantage.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with high attention to details.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin & English, as the role requires communicating frequently with the China team.

Applicants must be willing to work in our office in Pulau Indah, Port Klang.
