About the role

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? Terrajaya Plus Sdn Bhd, a leading construction company in Klang Selangor, is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor Executive to join our team. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in managing contracts and ensuring the financial success of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects
  • Negotiating and administering contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
  • Monitoring project costs and variations, and providing regular financial reports
  • Assisting with the preparation of progress claims and final accounts
  • Liaising with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Providing support and mentorship to junior members of the quantity surveying team

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and project controls
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in using quantity surveying software, such as Autodesk Revit and Bluebeam Revu
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
