Saga Fire Engineering Sdn Bhd is a specialist in fire protection, Infrastructure, plumbing, sanitary, water reticulation and sewerage engineering. We are looking for a Site Supervisor or Site Engineer to oversee on-site construction activities, ensure safety compliance, monitor progress, and coordinate with various teams. This role requires technical expertise in construction management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain project schedules and budgets.

  1. Site Supervision & Coordination

  2. Oversee daily site activities and ensure progress aligns with the schedule.

  3. Supervise workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople, ensuring work is done safely and efficiently.
  4. Schedule and allocate work while ensuring productivity targets are met

2. Construction Quality & Compliance

  • Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with design specifications, building regulations, and quality standards.
  • Provide technical advice and problem-solving on-site.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

3. Project Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate daily site reports, work progress logs, and incident reports.
  • Verify technical drawings, designs, and specifications before work execution.
  • Coordinate project packages to meet agreed timelines and budgets.

4. Material & Resource Management

  • Manage the scheduling of material, equipment, and deliveries to prevent delays.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources such as manpower, tools, and machinery.
  • Liaise with quantity surveyors for material pricing and procurement planning.

5. Stakeholder Communication

  • Work closely with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and project managers.
  • Communicate site updates and potential issues to management proactively.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are informed about project progress, milestones, and risks.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. SPM or TVET (Technical and Vocational Education Training) qualification.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in substructure and/or superstructure supervision.
  3. Valid CIDB Green Card.
  4. Technical competency in construction supervision, reading drawings, and material handling.
  5. Strong communication & leadership skills to coordinate between teams.
  6. Motivated, eager to learn, with a positive and hardworking attitude.
  7. Commercial awareness – understanding of how decisions impact project profitability.
