Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Installation Supervisor to manage the workshop fabrication and on-site installation of beverage process equipment and piping systems. The role requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage teams across both workshop and field environments to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Workshop Duties:

  • Supervise fabrication, pre-assembly, and skid-building of stainless steel process systems.
  • Ensure quality workmanship in welding, polishing, and assembly in compliance with 3-A, EHEDG, and GMP standards.
  • Oversee material preparation, schedule coordination, and FAT execution.
  • Maintain proper documentation (welding logs, fabrication reports, and QC records).

Site Duties:

  • Supervise installation of tanks, process equipment, CIP systems, and piping on client sites.
  • Lead and coordinate with subcontractors, welders, riggers, and technicians.
  • Ensure installation aligns with P&IDs, isometric drawings, and layout plans.
  • Conduct hydrostatic and pressure testing, flushing, and site inspections.
  • Support commissioning and system handover activities.

General Duties:

  • Ensure safety compliance at all times in workshop and on-site.
  • Track and report daily progress, site issues, and punch list resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with internal engineering team and client representatives.
  • Resolve technical challenges and ensure high standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical or Process Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in installation supervision in beverage or food industries.
  • Strong knowledge of stainless steel piping systems, TIG/orbital welding, and sanitary standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (P&IDs, isometrics, layout plans).
  • Proficiency in workshop and site coordination.
  • Hands-on leadership style with good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and installation documentation.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in beverage industries (e.g., brewery, dairy, juice, soft drinks).
  • Certifications in welding inspection, OSHA/NEBOSH safety, or GMP compliance.
