Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the ramp-up of equipment and optimize its utilization to meet production targets.
  • Manage the introduction and integration of new equipment and testing technologies to enhance capabilities.
  • Develop and execute tactical plans to achieve cost, productivity, and quality objectives, supporting the overall equipment roadmap.
  • Handle customer corrective actions, addressing issues promptly to maintain satisfaction and resolve problems effectively.
  • Create and implement strategies to lead a team toward achieving departmental goals and objectives.
  • Train, mentor, and retain staff to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Strategically plan and allocate resources to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the section's budget, resources, and operational costs to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability.
  • Guide and support staff in developing engineering and technical solutions, while maintaining a competitive edge in the industry.
  • Participate in or lead plant-wide cross-functional projects and activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support organizational needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8-12 years of industrial experience, including 5-8 years in equipment engineering, with a strong focus on semiconductor processes.

  • Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication abilities to effectively interact with customers and stakeholders.

  • In-depth knowledge of Wafer Sort processes and related technologies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all operational phases, including IC technologies, fabrication, customer processes, and applications.
  • Proven management and leadership skills to build and maintain high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate resourcefulness, and take proactive initiative.
  • Exceptional communication skills for clear and impactful interactions.
  • Solid project management expertise to plan, execute, and deliver results efficiently.
