Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP)

Review and process supplier invoices, consignment bills, and payment documents with complete supporting information.

Prepare payment vouchers, cheques, and online payments according to approved listings.

Assist in performing monthly creditor reconciliations and resolving discrepancies with suppliers.

Prepare and update the monthly creditor aging report.

Maintain proper filing and documentation of payment records for audit purposes.

Support banking-related tasks and update AP cash flow in Excel on a daily basis.

Communicate with suppliers on payment status and cheque collection when required.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Ensure daily sales and collection reports from branches are received on time and complete.

Review accuracy of reports, clarify discrepancies, and process sales data via Panda (P2A) into AutoCount.

Record daily sales collections (cash, credit card, e-wallet, GrabFood, online transfer) through journal vouchers.

Assist in reconciling merchant and bank settlement reports to ensure all collections are correctly recorded.

Maintain the gift voucher register — record issuance, redemption, and perform monthly reconciliation.

File all AR documents properly and prepare reports required for audit review.

General Duties

Ensure proper filing and control of all finance-related documents.

Participate in monthly and yearly stocktake as assigned.

Assist in providing required documents during internal or external audits.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Account & Finance Executive or Finance Manager.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

1–2 years of working experience in accounting; fresh graduates with strong aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles, AP/AR functions, and cash flow.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (AutoCount experience is an advantage).

Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Retail industry experience in and available to start immediately will have an added advantage.
