Admin and Accounts Assistant

Key responsibilities
- Accounting and Bookkeeping:
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Record financial transactions accurately in ledgers and journals.
- Perform bank and other account reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Administrative Support:
- Handle general office administration, including filing, copying, and correspondence.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
- Provide support for daily office operations, such as coordinating logistics and managing office supplies.
- Assist with data entry and updating records.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial documents.
- Assist with government submissions and tax-related reports.
- Follow company policies and procedures for financial and administrative tasks.
- Communication:
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding transaction details.
- Provide support and information to accounting staff and management.
Required skills and qualifications
- Education: A diploma or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is often required, though entry-level positions may be available.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is crucial. Experience with accounting software like SQL and Autocount.
- Other Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with an ability to work independently.
