Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for teams of local Data Collectors (RunningBall Data Scouts) who gather our data directly from the venue, or at home in your cluster(s)
- Deliver and implement consistent training procedures that maintain a high-quality network
- Operational responsibility for agreed coverage in your countries and events in the region to ensure delivery of coverage and quality to volume and standard
- Support countries in your wider region and other areas of the wider network where requested/required
- Ensure our operational coverage targets are met and delivered to budget
- Participate software testing where required
- Focus on cost efficiency within your network delivering coverage in the most optimal way
- Ensure your regional local team works within local legislation frameworks with regard to freelancers and employees
- Maintain a focus on the well-being of yourself and your freelance data collection team under company guidelines
Essentially, this role is responsible for supporting a team of freelance data collectors in Fast Data Operations, APAC. You would be required to work closely with other members of the APAC region. The main task for this role is to deliver and implement our defined training procedures that maintain a high-quality collection network. Additionally, you will ensure we have local strategies in place to manage risk, integrity, data collector well-being and a joined-up approach to official stadium access.
Next to that, you will manage communication to the team of Data Collectors ensuring they are fully aware of changes in procedures, processes, coverage and the overall purpose of Data Operations. This is an exciting role for someone who has excellent communication skills and has the ability to engage and enable people to perform at their best, to set priorities, goals and timetables to achieve maximum productivity and to adapt to changing business needs, cultures, conditions and work responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Good English and communication skills
- Experience in training and recruiting people
- Experience in the field of in-ground data collection
- People management experience
- Expert knowledge of Soccer
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to engage remote teams
- Results driven
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Basketball
- Proven ability to grasp diverse and often complex legal and regulatory scenarios across different geographies and sports
