As an Audit Senior at HC & Partners PLT, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audit services to our diverse range of clients. Based in our Kepong, Kuala Lumpur office, this full-time position will see you working closely with the audit team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and reporting.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting thorough audits of financial statements and supporting documents to verify their accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Liaising with clients to gather information, resolve queries, and provide recommendations for improving internal controls and financial processes
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of the audit team, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and training
  • Preparing detailed audit reports and presentations to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and other relevant regulations to ensure the firm's audit practices remain compliant

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit, preferably within a public accounting firm
  • A strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify potential risks or issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
