About the role

As a Sales Executive at Inlet Shipping Line, you will play a crucial role in driving new business growth and revenue generation for the company. Based in Klang, Selangor, this full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your sales expertise and contribute to the success of a leading Freight Forwarding Company.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to generate new freight forwarding business (export, by sea ).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential customers
  • Identify potential customers and convert leads into sales
  • Provide excellent customer service and effectively address any queries or concerns
  • Prepare detailed sales proposals and presentations tailored to customer needs
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through consistent follow-ups and client engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and market intelligence reports.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping (fresh candidates with passion for sales may also apply). Proven track record of success in new business development or sales, within the shipping, freight forwarding, NVOCC or logistics industry 3-4 Years Experience
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
  • Proficiency in preparing sales proposals and presentations
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and the drive to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
