About the Role
Vekan Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an accomplished
Production Manager
to lead our dynamic manufacturing team in Port Klang. The Production Manager will oversee the full spectrum of production operations, including daily output planning, manpower management, process optimization, quality compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe production activities that meet customer requirements and support the company's growth.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations to achieve output, quality, and on-time delivery targets.
- Implement and monitor OEE performance, drive productivity improvements, and enforce cost-control measures.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts through root-cause analysis, structured problem-solving, and adoption of best practices.
- Ensure all production processes adhere to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the production team while fostering a culture of discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain a safe working environment with strict compliance to EHS regulations, company policies, and 5S/housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of production experience
- Strong organizational and managerial skills
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SQL-based platforms).
Preferred Skills
- Background in Precision Machining, Injection Molding, or Stamping
- Knowledge of IATF 16949
Pay range and compensation package: Up to RM 12,000
