  1. Planning and Scheduling

  2. Plan and allocate vehicles, drivers, and routes according to delivery schedules and customer requirements.

  3. Optimize load planning to maximize vehicle utilization and minimize empty runs.

  4. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transport plans.

  5. Operations Control and Coordination

  6. Monitor the movement of vehicles in real time (via GPS/fleet tracking systems).

  7. Ensure timely dispatch, delivery, and return of vehicles.
  8. Handle changes to delivery schedules, breakdowns, or delays efficiently.

  9. Liaise with drivers, customers, and logistics partners to resolve operational issue.

  10. Communication and Coordination

  11. Serve as the main contact point between the company, drivers, and clients.

  12. Provide updates on delivery status and manage customer expectations.
  13. Coordinate with maintenance and workshop teams for vehicle servicing and repairs.

  14. Handle driver rosters, leave schedules, and disciplinary issues when necessary.

  15. Problem Solving and Emergency Handling

  16. Respond to breakdowns, accidents, or delays promptly.

  17. Arrange replacement vehicles or drivers when needed.
  18. Ensure that contingency plans are in place for emergencies.

Skills & Competencies Required

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency with fleet management and GPS tracking software.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
