Accounts and Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities:

Accounts

  1. To perform daily bookkeeping activities on account receivable/payable , invoicing, and bank reconciliation and daily/monthly bank reconciliation.

  2. Perform Account Payable function, such as preparation of payment, reconciliation of suppliers' accounts etc .

  3. Manage month end close process and ensure all journals, bank reconciliations, AR and AP

Payroll

  1. Prepare and process monthly payroll for multiple clients / entities

  2. Check and ensure accuracy of payroll input data

  3. Ensure payroll is in line with Malaysian laws: EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax deductions, local labour laws etc.

  4. Prepare and submit payroll‐related statutory filings / reports (e.g. EPF contributions, tax deductions) on time.

  5. Handle payroll queries from employees/client regarding payroll (e.g. payslips, deductions, overtime).

  6. Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of payroll data.

  7. Liaise with clients or internal stakeholders (HR, Finance) for payroll inputs, changes, policies.

Requirements

  1. Minimum: Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance or related field.

  2. Minimum 1-year relevant experience in accounting. Candidate with basic understanding of payroll processes have advantages.

  3. Candidate have knowledge in accounting software AutoCount or SQL preferred

  4. Detail oriented, responsible, reliable and able to work independently

  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kuala Lumpur
