About the role

We are seeking an experienced Body and Paint Manager to join our dynamic PROTON AG AUTOWORLD SDN BHD' team in Johor Bahru District Johor. As the Body and Paint Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the body and paint shop operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality repairs and an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee the body and paint shop operations, including workflow, productivity, and quality control
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and streamline the repair process
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in the automotive industry, particularly in service operations and Body & Paint business.
  • Thorough knowledge of body and paint repair processes, industry standards, and best practices
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to upholding high safety and quality standards
