SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Communication:

  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors and relevant parties.
  • Able to convey inventory information and reports clearly and accurately.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to handle inventory systems to record stock movement, monitor stock balance and update data.
  • Able to operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales verification and inventory reconciliation.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel or inventory software.
  • Accurate and systematic recording, updating and verification of inventory data.

Attention to Detail:

  • High level of accuracy in stock counting, recording quantities and maintaining inventory records.
  • Prevent stock variance through regular checking and reconciliation.

Product Knowledge:

  • Understanding of product types, item codes and stock arrangement in store or warehouse.
  • Product and system training will be provided if necessary.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive, arrange and store inventory items in an organized and safe manner.
  • Conduct daily, weekly or monthly stock counts.
  • Ensure inventory records are always updated in the system.
  • Reconcile inventory data with sales reports from the POS system.
  • Report any stock shortages, overstock or damaged items to management.
  • Support store or warehouse operations to ensure smooth inventory flow.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Stamina:

  • Able to work for long hours and perform light to moderate physical tasks such as lifting and arranging stock.

Agility:

  • Good hand-eye coordination for counting, checking and organizing inventory.

Safety and Procedures:

  • Comply with warehouse safety procedures and company policies to protect company assets.

MANAGEMENT COORDINATION

  • Work closely with supervisors, store managers or warehouse managers in inventory planning and daily operations.
  • Provide support to the sales team regarding stock availability.

ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGES

  • Experience using computerized inventory systems and POS systems.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Education Level:

  2. Minimum SPM or equivalent.

  3. Basic knowledge in mathematics and computer skills is encouraged.
  4. Training will be provided for candidates without experience.

  5. Computer Skills:

  6. Able to operate inventory systems and POS systems.

  7. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or related software is an advantage.

  8. Integrity and Honesty:

  9. Responsible, trustworthy and compliant with company policies related to inventory and data handling.

  10. Attitude and Discipline:

  11. Positive attitude, disciplined and able to work in a team.

  12. Punctual and willing to work according to assigned schedules.

  13. Experience (if any):

  14. Previous working experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics or retail is an advantage but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1, RM2,500.00 per month
