To provide the leadership in planning, organizing and managing all of the activities related to the student registration and Resource Planning.

To be responsible overall in the management and operations of the following sections:-

a) Registry


• Provide leadership and planning in the development, implementation and monitoring of all aspects of admissions, registration and records of students.


• Monitor compliance with University regulations, in maintaining student records.


• Prepare Enrolment, Population and other statistical/ monthly reports for submission to the Management.


• Ensure students are served efficiently within established procedures.


• Communicate with students and parents and resolve issues or problems faced within reasonable time.

b) Scholarship


• Arrange and conduct interviews as a member of the Scholarship Board.


• Issue scholarship offer letters and monitor students' performance with the assistance of the respective Schools/Faculties.

c) Resource Planning


• Work closely with Deans / Head of School in the allocation of classes and ensure classrooms are allocated at the commencement of an intake.


• Maximize utilization of room allocation for teaching.


• Monitor class cancellation/movement and provide monthly reports to Deans / Head of Schools

Requirements:


• Master's Degree with at least 3 years of progressive experience in academic management.


• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment , independently and in a team environment.


• Excellent customer service and communication skills – ability to build and sustain effective working relations with all levels of staff throughout the University.


• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and improve processes in order to resolve issues.
