Responsibilities and Duties

  • Install, commission, and perform buy-off for AMHS equipment at customer sites, following company standards and safety protocols.
  • Conduct functional testing, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and timely recovery actions to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate service reports and documentation complying with the company's ISO 9001 certified quality management system.
  • Participate in internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strictly adhere to cleanroom and ESD protocols to maintain safety and quality during on-site work.
  • Respond promptly to urgent customer issues, providing effective technical support and service recovery.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to ensure alignment of service activities with business needs.
  • Provide 24x7 stand-by support on a rotational basis to ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns or critical system issues.
  • Must be available for emergency callouts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, when required.
  • Ensure prompt troubleshooting, repair, and communication with customers during stand-by periods.
  • Maintain readiness to travel or provide remote support as needed during stand-by duty.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to uphold operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Working Experience

  • 0–5 years' experience preferred, especially in semiconductor or equipment automation industries.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and fault investigation experience is a plus.
  • Experience in equipment automation or AMHS-related environments is a strong advantage.

Education

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field.

Essential Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and schematics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical drawing software (e.g., CAD).
  • Able to work independently on-site and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including internationally, according to project requirements.
  • Comfortable working in cleanroom environments with proper gowning protocols.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual (e.g., English and Mandarin) is an added advantage.
