The Asset Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's asset records, inventory, and stock movement in compliance with internal policies and procedures. This role involves overseeing asset lifecycle management, coordinating asset write-offs, and supporting procurement functions to ensure accurate tracking, control, and reporting of all company assets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Asset & Inventory Management

  2. Maintain and update the asset register, ensuring all assets are properly tagged, recorded, and tracked.

  3. Conduct regular asset verification and reconciliation against physical inventory.
  4. Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure adequate supply and timely replenishment.

  5. Coordinate and support annual stock count and asset audit exercises.

  6. Asset Disposal & Write-Off

  7. Prepare documentation and reports for asset write-off proposals in line with company policies.

  8. Liaise with relevant departments to assess, approve, and execute disposal or write-off of obsolete or damaged assets.

  9. Maintain complete records and audit trails for all asset disposals.

  10. Procurement & Administrative Support

  11. Assist in sourcing and procurement of office equipment, tools, and consumables.

  12. Verify delivery orders and invoices against purchase orders before submission for payment.

  13. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and support continuous improvement of asset management processes.

  14. Reporting & Compliance

  15. Generate regular asset and inventory reports for management review.

  16. Ensure asset management activities comply with company SOPs and relevant audit requirements.
  17. Support internal and external audit processes related to asset verification and control.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in asset management, inventory control, or procurement functions.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
  • Good communication and coordination skills across departments.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
