Job Description:

  • To assist the Project Manager / Construction Manager to control and monitor all related quality assurance and control matters on the project.
  • To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the Quality management system.
  • To promote use of process approach, risk-based thinking and life cycle perspective in the project.
  • To promote customer focus and improvement in the project.
  • To comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.
  • To implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment.
  • To assist Project Manager to monitor all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.
  • To prepare and maintain Project Quality Plan.
  • To ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans and that all quality control mechanisms are being used.
  • To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
  • Accountable for the quality, safety and health performance at his workplace.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree (Preferred) in relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 1 years (QAQC Officer/Engineer) working experience in construction environment.
  • Computer literate and familiar with MS Office.
  • Site based work involving liaison with client representatives and/or consultants, sub-contractors, vendors & related parties for daily site operations
  • Possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Related past work experiences in small to medium MBW will be added advantage
  • Self-motivated & Pro-activeness in work are highly desired
