ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform mould set up and operation of plastic injection moulding machines.
  • Set up auxiliary equipment - Hot runner system, chillers and sequential controllers.
  • Troubleshoot problem and solve injection moulding and auxiliary.
  • Maintain records and documents processes and procedures effectively.
  • Maintain and organize mold change tools and equipment.
  • Knows how to perform quality confirmation on each product type, based on limit sample.
  • Train/coach new operators on injection moulding machines and optimum quality issues.
  • Must be active in Kaizen activities to reduce wastages and scraps.
  • To ensure the new project information was given promptly to other department.
  • To ensure the approval sample is issued on time, monitor on sample submission, mould testing, repairing and modification.
  • To handle customer enquiry and co-ordinate with internal department.
  • Responsible for product, process, test engineering and other engineering technical supports for the assigned project/products
  • To take corrective action if sample approval is NG.
  • To co-ordinate with tooling & production department on mould testing, repairing & modification.
  • To carried out measurement task as per customer request.
  • Responsible to achieve the departmental goals and quality objectives by working closely with the immediate superior through planning, implementing and closed loop improvement.
  • Manage, monitor and motivate the cross functional team assigned to the project.
  • Work closely with other department to enhance productivity and quality.

REQUIREMENT

  • 5 + years of experience in injection molding processing including understanding of injection molding process, machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Minimum Diploma qualification.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, SPC, FMEA, 8D problem solving skill is added advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Possess good discipline and positive working attitude.
