Position Overview:

The Precision Agriculture Specialist will be responsible for promoting and driving the adoption of advanced agricultural technologies to optimize farm operations and productivity. In this role, you will actively engage in sales and marketing activities, including identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, conducting product presentations, and supporting marketing initiatives to expand market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationship with diverse client base, including farmer, agricultural businesses, and retail distributors. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular follow-up and support.
  • Sales & Marketing: Ensure monthly, quarterly and yearly sales target assigned are achieved.
  • Advisory Role: Support client by assess and analyze farm data, identifying opportunities for improvement through precision agriculture technologies for optimizing farm performance, including crop management, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Continuously monitor the impact of precision agriculture solutions, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal results.
  • Research & Development: Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in precision agricultural technologies, incorporating them into client solutions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with farmers to design and implement customized precision agriculture strategies based on specific farm needs and conditions.
  • Training & Education: Provide training and support to clients and/or staff on the effective use of precision agriculture tools/technologies.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on precision farming strategies, performance metrics and recommendations for ongoing improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Motivated individual with a genuine passion for agriculture and related technologies
  • Candidates with relevant experience in precision farming, agronomy, or similar agricultural disciplines are preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, farmers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and projects.
  • A passion for driving sustainable agricultural practices through innovation and technology.
  • Willingness to travel to various agricultural sites on regular basis is a must.
