Job Description – Application Maintenance / Production Support (Data Security)

Experience: 3–5 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Application Maintenance/Production Support Engineer with strong knowledge of Data Security technologies and end-user platforms. The role involves supporting day-to-day operations of the bank's security suite, ensuring secure data transmission, managing endpoint security, and enhancing data protection capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations, maintenance, and enhancement of the bank's Data Security platforms including:
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  • Email Encryption
  • Endpoint and Data Security Operations
  • Provide L2/L3 support for security-related applications and services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across open systems and end-user technologies (Windows, iOS, Android).
  • Work with endpoint management platforms (MDM) for secure configuration and compliance.
  • Assist in designing, developing, deploying, and improving Data Security controls, policies, and solutions.
  • Ensure secure data transmission using cryptographic standards and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud-based Data Security integrations (AWS, Azure, M365, GCP).
  • Monitor system performance, security alerts, and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
  • Provide technical support for user onboarding and data protection requirements.

Required Skills & ExpertiseTechnical Skills

  • Strong understanding of Data Security technologies and industry best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  • Email Encryption technologies
  • Cryptographic standards and secure data transmission methods
  • Knowledge of:
  • Open systems (Windows, iOS, Android)
  • Endpoint management platforms (MDM)
  • Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, M365, GCP
  • Good understanding of security operations and support processes.

Additional Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple platforms.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with critical production systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Security Engineering roles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5, RM10,000.00 per month
