What You'll Do

  • Balance Sheet Mastery:
    Take charge of asset and liability composition, explain key drivers, and optimise risk-adjusted returns. You'll manage financial risks proactively to keep our balance sheet strong and future-ready.
  • Liquidity Leadership:
    Ensure we have the right funding at the right time. Monitor daily Nostro balances, forecast cash flows, and source funding through interbank markets, central bank facilities, or corporate clients.
  • Capital Strategy:
    Own the capital management process—meeting regulatory requirements while optimising capital for maximum returns. Collaborate with Risk, Finance, and business units to deliver an efficient capital plan.
  • Smart Matching:
    Align assets and liabilities to minimise risk. Manage treasury trade maturities and avoid over-concentration by tenor, credit, or counterparty.
  • Fixed Income Investments:
    Monitor bond markets and recommend strategic buys to meet liquidity requirements and enhance yields—always balancing timing, market, credit, and liquidity risks.
  • Fund Transfer Pricing:
    Implement FTP mechanisms to accurately measure profitability, manage risk, and align incentives across the organisation.
  • ALCO Insights:
    Prepare impactful materials for ALCO discussions, driving strategic decisions that shape our future.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Stay ahead of macro trends, regulatory changes, and industry shifts to assess their impact on our balance sheet.
  • Risk & Compliance:
    Work closely with internal teams to monitor, escalate, and resolve risks while ensuring compliance.
  • Innovation & Systems:
    Manage treasury systems, lead automation initiatives, and collaborate across departments to deliver smarter solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or Business.
  • 5–7 years of treasury experience, ideally in banking.
  • Strong knowledge of Asset Liability Management, Capital Management, and Liquidity/Funding.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of treasury products and operations.
  • Ability to leverage data analytics for actionable insights.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
