Position Overview:

The Finance Manager is a strategic financial leader responsible for overseeing the organization's financial health, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting decision-making processes. This role involves managing accounting operations, developing financial strategies, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Finance Manager acts as a key partner to senior management, providing insights that drive business growth and stability.

Objective & Directions:

• To deliver accurate, timely, and compliant financial information to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
• To develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls that promote efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• To lead the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• To identify financial risks and opportunities, providing proactive solutions to enhance organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
• Present financial insights and reports to senior management, highlighting key issues and strategic recommendations.

Financial Reporting

• Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure timely submission of financial reports to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain transparency and clarity in financial disclosures and documentation.

Accounting Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax laws, and relevant financial regulations.
• Coordinate audits (internal and external), providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.

Risk Management

• Identify financial and operational risks, developing mitigation strategies.
• Monitor currency, credit, and market risks, advising on appropriate hedging or risk mitigation measures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and optimize working capital.
• Oversee banking relationships, treasury functions, and investment activities.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team to enhance performance and professional growth.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ethical practices, and collaboration.

Other Responsibilities

• Support strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and new project evaluations.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and digital transformation within the finance function.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with operational goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in financial management, reporting, or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in Autocount accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
