Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support audit and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile inter-company transactions and balances.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, including preparation and filing of VAT/GST and other statutory returns.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Review and improve internal control systems and accounting procedures.
  • Supervise junior accounting staff and provide necessary training or support.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as SAP, SAGE, UBS
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
