Job Summary

The AR/OTC Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Receivable and Order-to-Cash processes to support the company's financial operations. This role involves handling cash application, collections, claims, credit, and dispute management while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of transactions. The specialist will work closely with internal teams and external customers—particularly Mandarin-speaking stakeholders—to resolve issues and maintain healthy

receivable portfolios. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work within tight month-end deadlines, and proficiency in SAP (S/4HANA experience is an added advantage).

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) and Order-to-Cash
  • (OTC) processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls
  • Perform Cash Application by matching customer payments against invoices on a timely basis
  • Handle Collections activities, including follow-ups with customers to ensure timely payments
  • Manage Claims, Credit Notes, and Dispute Resolution, ensuring proper documentation and closure
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and prepare aging reports for review
  • Support month-end closing activities, ensuring all AR transactions are posted and reconciled within deadlines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across SSC/BPO environments to resolve issues efficiently
  • Maintain accurate AR records in SAP; experience with S/4HANA is an advantage
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline OTC processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including Mandarin-speaking clients

Skill & Experience Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in AR/OTC
  • Background from SSC or BPO industry
  • Finance graduate
  • SAP savvy; S/4HANA is an advantage
  • Experienced in Cash Application, Collection, Claims, Credit & Dispute Management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work within tight timelines during month-end close
  • Mandarin speaker

Willing to work APAC hours (Hybrid arrangement)
