Accounting duties

  • Maintain and reconcile accounts, including full-set of accounts for some roles.
  • Process and record invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Manage bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Prepare financial reports like profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Process monthly payroll and handle related submissions, such as EPF/SOCSO/PCB.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable.
  • Assist with budget preparation and filing financial records.

Administrative duties

  • Manage general office administration, including supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
  • Handle correspondence, scheduling, and office organization.
  • Assist with HR-related tasks, such as leave management and staff claims
  • Coordinate internal meetings and external events.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders like auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries.
  • Provide administrative assistance to management and handle ad-hoc tasks.

Key skills and requirements

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software like Autocount or equivalent, E-invoice knowledge and strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Other: Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
